    21st century gangster

Hi all , this is my first image submitted to conceptart and hopefully the first of many (once the cintiq arrives !), inspired by the gangster cars from various movies of the past. i feel that modern cars dont have enough character but that's probably due more to safety concerns rather than uninspired designers so here is my vision of a modern gangster car. obviously it had to be black because black is such a powerful colour and i love seeing cars in black ! no reference images were used and the process was a freestyle sketch in sketchbook pro then over to photoshop for rendering.

Hey i agree completely with you, cars nowadays are very very boring, and in your face designing is a thing of the past. I love the direction you headed, but the photo wheels look out of place, and there is a strange white line going down the front window, and its not even centered, thats confusing.

Id like to see a company sign in the middle of the top portion of the grill. Or a sign that sticks out over the top ala Rolls Royce, Mercedes.

yes photo wheels generally make me cringe but since my wacom is gone (god i miss it) i couldnt finish it in time and i just wanted to post it up for you guys to see so i put them on. i have the rims in my head that i want to do (the ones with lots of spokes) just gotta sit it out until the cintiq arrives so until i then i shall retreat to a dark cupboard and wait it out !
