Hi there, looks like you have a good start with the sketchbook.
My crit is that you tend to draw a lot of tiny stuff, but I think your bigger drawings look much better. Maybe you should try to keep their size big enough to add details comfortably. Also I would say look out for the scratchy lines on some of them even though they are sketches.
thanks for stopping by my sketchbook and keep on drawing !

Hey again! Takk fyrir heimsóknina
Those are some good studies and will prove useful later, just keep them coming, daily! I think you should put the comic/fantasy stuff aside for now, since you're drawing them from your imagination with no references. Just draw from references for a while. Draw from life, study other people's life drawing, paintings, sketches and see if you won't improve within several weeks. Good luck!

Critiques are much appreciated

Hi sjuskadur, Thanks for your encouragement.
I believe that you'll have a good time in Austria~a beautiful country.

thanks for commenting my sketchbook!
your self portrait is lookin good! I suggest, to get better at drawing faces, try doing a page full of just one part of the face. Like one all different kinds of eyes, referenced from the mirror, or pictures, and another of noses, mouths, etc. it really does help!

January 8th, 2008 #27
while drawing from imagination is great, ASA's right, referencing and studying things before drawing and making them "fantastic" will help in the long run.
also...I am sorry to hear about your friend, i think it is very touching that you dedicated your sketchbook to him.
will visit here again..keep on drawing!
