Hey there, great update! For a crit, Sekino's eyes appear asymmetrically placed. I love the fabric of guggem's dress; it fits beautifully on the figure. Keep up the good work!

Hey AsaB, I see you around everywhere but I never caught up with your book. Nice, fresh, fun, beautiful. Thanks, I enjoyed and I look forward to more.

I really like the farmer's daughter, she's got a really cute face, although in the profile view the ear could be placed a little more to the back, the back of the head itself looks a bit small. The 100 second drawings look pretty nice as well, I'm sure these are going to improve if you do it often enough. I should try myself, sounds fun! May favourite in this update is the left photoshop head. The lines look pretty good in this one. Keep it up

    Hello again the beautiful AsaB!

First off, well done and thank you for updating twice in two weeks
And what a great sketch-dump you've been kind enough to give us

Really like the landscape, and you drew it from life too? Great job, I'm never to good at doing evos from life
I like what your doing with your 'farmer's daughter' character as well, maybe try a turn-around model sheet next? I don't know haha

And then we have allll of these fantastic portraits!!! Some great shape, form and expression your getting across with just simple lines and strokes! Big ups Asa!

Haha, and every clever how you cloned Emma's dress like that, good stuff!

And thanks so much for all the help advice, crits and support you've giving in my sketchbook, it really means a lot
    Thank you and take care,
    matt

You are doing some awesome training right now and I don't have a lot to say, other than keep going as they are turning out well. I also like the idea of timed head studies, I think its great to learn what to look for and quickly analyze things...and you are also doing a few longer ones to really work at the structure...so just keep on with what you're doing

Great bunch of studies this time! Love it! I may have been a tad one tracked last time, you should at least have some kudos for being so inept with the disney style form before^^

Nice sketches! Are they scanned in the right order? Because I do get the impression you got looser/more comfortable with the various expressions on the last sheet (bottom right). Sounds like a neat program for portrait practice!

And thanks again for my lovely portrait! I love guggemmaneuver's as well: Great job on getting her dress pattern on the character!

Fantastic update! I'm so glad you've brought the farmer's daughter back...she's such a strong character. The front view of her is truly haunting...love it. And the heads! This one is incredible. I love that you're pushing for speed and building confidence at such a staggering pace. Looking forward to heaps more of the quickies.

Hey Sweety! Glad to see more updates coming!

Heads looking nice so far. You seem to go for different head types - which is a good thing! Do MOAR!

Also like the girl concept. Front view is the best.

The portraits also look lovely. Though everything looks still a bit sketchy. I hope you'll have some time to do some more fleshed out stuff!

    Lots of sketches!

The farmers daughter looks very nordic with that sweater, I like her. And the heads looks good, keep at it.

The portraits were the ones catching my attention though, well done, and I just love the one of Emma! lol!

    hey there Asa!
Totally love your portrait, especially the one on this page, of the little girl; and i see you've done a few from the what dose everyone look like too!
You capture characteristics good!! I think i'll give it a try too!

Before i do that i guess some loomis head studies would be good?
Or what book do you suggest.

Ooh! And from your colour jobs i think you should vary your levels more...use a desaturated shade with a saturated light n such; i see it's something you subconsciously or consciously do on a grayscale value, but just pointing it better out of colour ^^

    have a lovely day dear~
