    Terry Pratchett diagnosed with alzheimers.

A friend just told me that Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with an early onset Alzheimer's disease. Terry's books has brought me much joy over the years, and I'm very sad to learn about this. I hope his condition will affect him as little as possible, because the world needs people like him.

I heard about this yesterday and could have cried. He's one of my favourite writers, if not my favourite, and it's such a tragic way to lose a creative mind like his. I can only hope that he'll remain well for a long time yet.

yeah, I read that in metro the other day as wel, it's kinda sad. I don't read his stff but I know someone who is a big fan of him. I'm pretty sure he would know this by now and no doubt will be sad.
