And the other stuff since then. My fave is the dinos and the teddy hug, but my mom liked the goblins tearing meat off of the bone.... ????

No ref for any but the fashion ones.

Nice updates. You should have done beside those parachuted animals in a comicbook balloon style like they are screaming : "Geronimoooooo!"

LTPlissken: Thanks! I'm not sure that situation of parachuted dinos and donkeys really needed any added bizarreness. Thought it wouldn't hurt.... hehehe

A landscape and a portrait from my head. I'm not too happy with the portrait (generic, outlined, pinkish, left eye bigger than right eye, non planned bg vs face....etc. you get the point ), but the landscape turned out ok. Exaaaaammmsss....bleghhhhh.

You're very skilled and a lot of cool things seems to be happening in your head.
If anything, you could try to construct everything more 3dish in your sketches. You don't decompose the shapes into basic primitives, and that only makes it harder for you.
    Overall, very cool stuff.
PS: I really like the pig with the hat, it's incredibly funny!

lennon: Hehe...the pig with the hat is from life and sings "I'm too sexy for your love..." etc. You're spot on about the basic shapes. I find it very hard to do so. I shall try anyway!

Another little landscape. Itkshy.... should do some snow studies...
why purple so much i say?

wicked updates, i think sitting down and doing a few long still life sessions with acrylics would be a super healthy way to be working with color
(with acrylics you can work with it for a long time and have a "visual dialogue" with the painting i think its a lot harder to do the same with watercolor or washes
in the beginning at least that has been my experience)

i cant stress the "from life" bit any more, photos just dont do what you see in reality justice

keep up the hard work its paying off (line is looking wicked btw )

    Zorcron: (lookie down )

    tja88: Thank you!

A still life on 4x4 board with acrylics. I was pretty happy with it two days ago and now I see issues...gah. The scanning turned it a bit weird (there's random red spots!??!), but overall its pretty close to life. And a design for a building. I used toned paper for the first time and quite liked it. That's white pencil crayon, around 8 pencil and white conte.

Those Goblins look good, and you came up with a very original idea. Is that human bone that they are eating?

Wow! You did quite a bit pixie!! And you varied it a lot!!

the parachute ideas were really cute.
The painting of the banana looks great too. But for some reason, it looks to worked up, like it has one layer to many of paint.

I think you draw what you like, no? So no, drawing weaponry and animals you find interesting doesn't seem weird to me.

Thanks for showing the blue eyed buffalo too

Keep updating in huge blocks like that
