    Thanks.
I like the one from "Henri-Edmond Cross". I'm planning to do this kind of color studies in my pocket sketchbook.

I don't have time to look at these just yet(damn finals!), but let me say that I LOVE Fragonard! Definitely need to look at his paintings again.

It's cool how loose and scribbly Leightons book is when you compare it to how tight and rendered his paintings are.

    Wow. Great link.

I'm surprised by how...not very good...some of them seem. Sanfor Gifford's is my favorite so far.
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).

Thanks for the link! If you're ever at the Fogg, be sure to enter inside the Agnes Mongan Center and they will gladly let you page through a lot of those sketchbooks.

So far Benjamin Champney's sketchbook is my favourite...I love the way he draws trees! And the scale of it...mmm I've got to sleep but this is first on my list tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the link! I wonder if I can't find anything like this @ the museum by my school.

Fragonard...I've seen his paintings...I remember he could paint a deadly plant! His people weren't bad either, a little too polished for my tastes.
