Help I need work!
Hahaha! The bears are so cute!
The one big fault I'm noticing is that you use a lot of soft edges, especially in the 2nd drawing. This gives a very fuzzy, incomplete feel ... makes me want to squint! Also - in the drawing of the bears, the background and the cobblestones at the bottom are much more detailed and saturated than the foreground, which makes me want to look at the bg first, even though it's not such an important part of the image.
Think about what you want your viewer to focus on and this will help you decide which parts of your drawings should have the most detail / contrast / saturation etc. Good luck!
I will keep all that in mind
lol. just have to say i love the bears xD
its got a very pastel feel. I would focus on light source. Allow things to cast shadows. There are no lines in real life the only thing that seprerates us visualy from everthing else around us is light. The edges of shadows. To much light every thing blurs togather to mush shadow same thing. Used properly it defines your objects. FYI. I like the bears too.
Hey, funny bears there. I like what you did when you put the bears in the light and that they are in front of dark areas both of them, it gives a lot of contrast. Maybe you want to look over your values a little bit, things that are far away are pretty close to each other in value, I made a superquick paintover here, don't know if it will give you anything. I tried to separate tha foreground and the background using values, and I pushed your shadows a little bit to the darker side. Also I think someone mentioned giving the bears some shadows, I thought that was a nice idea, kinda weird when your house casts a shadow, but the bears don't. Keep it up!
PS this was made superquick, so maybe you'll see what I mean better if you take that into Photoshop and zoom out so it's the size of a thumbnail. Now my slop grabs a little attention I think.
Thanks alot for all the tips, they help a whole lot. I never had any schooling on any of this.
interesting, what difference your shadows make already!
