I like the colour and composition in most of these, and the model is well framed, generally speaking. I need to warm up my critical faculties a bit more to give you some real crits, but they are visually appealling. The few of her back in particular stand out, particularly the very last one in the set. They make me think - in their presentation and style - of finding damaged vintage erotica in the attic or something. I like the nostalgic atmosphere I guess.

Now, the coffee rings? inky splatters? whatever they are work well as a background, and I appreciate that they make your pin-ups "tasteful" in some cases, but in others they're a bit too much. While I did grin at the one over her groin in "Halo" it's way too obvious - it makes the image stand out in a negative way. I'ld either re-crop the picture closer - including maybe only as far as her knees or something, or paint over her legs more - make it more subtle. Either that or drop it from the series.

But generally speaking these are pretty nice. There's a good style here, and with some more development they could be excellent. As I type this message and scroll up and down to your pics, I find myself quite liking "Purple".

thanks for the crit. The ink splatters were intentional. I couldn't post them on Myspace without the edit. I forgot about it until you mentioned it. Here are the uncensored versions.

That does improve Halo, but I still don't think it belongs in the collection. It's just a very different kind of picture. Still, it is a good image. "Purple" is definately becoming a favourite, whether with the splatter or not. It's a good idea for a series, you should keep pushing it.

    Thanks for all the comments.

studiostaub- I take digital photos of my model and use photoshop to finish the pin-ups. Their are many layers, special brushs, color correction, and layer masks in the process.
