Wow, man, great redesigns. Realli nice improvement going on here.
And it's a good thing You keep going even though You get very little response in here.

Keep those re-designs coming, they're awesome

It doesn't cost You much to leave a comment in my sketchbook, and it can help me a lot.

Thanks alot Gildorek. Yeah, sometimes it's tough to keep going when you don't get any response. But I also hang out at the swedish art forums grafisktforum.org and illu.nu where I get some response aswell.

You get better and better with each new re-design! Pidgeot is SO cute, it makes me get over the slight hate I have for him, but Bulbasaur is just the best so far.
Planning to give Squirtle a try?

You have a feel for creature you don't have yet for humans and architecture, to train and get to the next level you should try more studies of those - no rare candy in RL I'm afraid!

Ah really awesome. The Pokémon redesigns are really great, I'm especially fond of the Jynx one. The chicken headed guys rule also. Keep up the great work.

Ariel: Yes, I'm planning on doing squirtle. With a design similar to charm and bulba (notice they have very similar heads). The three gangstas.

Porygon is awesome and perfect. Mewtwo also has a cool design, but he feels kind of detached from the background. The birds and animals in your sketchbook are also really cool

Thanks Ariel! Yea, I agree with you about Mewtwo looking separated from the bg.

Wow, man, some really crazy stuff is going on here. I love those pokemon redesigns. My favourite is picatchu, but all of them are awesome. Colors could be more intense in general but all the compositions are cool, working and easy to read. Your human and humanoid characters are also coming along nicely. Only crit on the faces: Your traditionally drawn faces are okay, but for some reason your digital ones suffer from issues like rendering lips correctly distorted eyes, flat nose, not-so-believable wrinkles on the forehead asymmetry, flat forehead and chin, lack of real facial structure. As your pen sketches are good I'd suggest that you should also draw a lineart base for your digital faces and stick to it to avoid distoriton and achieve a more believable look. And use reference for colors and shading! Keep in mind that sometimes (or most of the time? I'm not sure ) you can achieve realistic look by using only a very limited color and value range and subtle gradients.
Cool SB anyway, 4 stars from me.
