    Be patient and study every picture, its insane

    Did theese from my head after just browsing the thread fast since its pretty late. Im not saying they are good, but something clicked in my head looking at that thread

    just from seeing postures and proportions shows me ur headed the right way. keep using wat u got as a way of learning to draw coz it seems pretty useful, and wats gonna be useful to me is that site u provided in ur very first post.
    im off to view it now.

    Really like your gesture sketches - they have definite rhythm and your studies have believable mass and form. Those Bridgman studies are excellent!

    Thanks krist, but i havent started looking at anatomy yet, so its still way off.

    Yet another page from from my wacom.
    Still cant decide if i like openCanvas or painterx best I guess ill know when i get better, and the differences actually means something.

    I sat down and watched ballet... it blows, but it does show movement in a nice way

    Tried to clean up the picture a bit.
    Anyone know a good place to read about reflected light?

    hey you've got some decent studies going on here.

    The thing with Bridgeman (and this screwed me up personally) is that I did not recognize that each line he draws has a distinct significance to 3-dimensional space. In reality all he is drawing is bulking mass on a human body. no matter if it's muscle or bone. Once you realize it and see it you can start understanding it easier. .....I'm not sure if that made sense.
