Enjoying the faces your post #317!! Does all of them come from imagination?

Agree with Krato too. The lines on the life-drawing people looks really "edgy"

Good work on those characters, especially the head thumbnails.

Doing like fifty thumbnails for a concept is an excellent exercise. Even if you end up only liking the
first three or four, it may kick up some good ideas for another project, and sometimes the last
three or four are the ones you end up liking.

Cell-style coloring is looking pretty hot. Keep working on your more complex renderings as well.

...and don't forget, take your time. You want to get into a smooth thoughtful, unworried state of 'making haste slowly'.

the imagination is taxed to its utmost – and will
produce its richest ideas. Given total freedom,
the work is likely to sprawl.”

Hi, and thanks for stopping by at my sb. I like sketcbook, nice stuff going on - some concepts and sketches are really nice. Maybe some anatomy issues here and there, but you'll handle it. About that last thing - I'd very like to see which fantasy world could have such creature, in other words - I like the design. Probably little problem with the rendering of the right foot - I suppose the area around knee should've be lighter. Anyway, good work, and keep it up.
    Cheers!

Oh, and it's strange, that your sb is not yet rated, so - here some stars!

Great sketchbook! Don't know what to suggest here cause you're already on a very good way. The blocky colour studies are fantasitc. It's also nice to see you're experimenting with different styles (though some manga sketches look a bit wonky). Anyway, keep up the studies. Maybe try to push your drawings from imagination a bit more.

    Love the recent creature design!

Seraph Fawkes: thanks for the comment on that tree-guy! To be honest I felt that the other foot is problematic Anyway, thank you very much for the rating, and stay tuned, a whole bunch of other fantasy stuff is about to come
fantasyartist: colorstudies? what colorstudies? Just kidding - but I havent do too much of them lately. Thanks for the compliment and the unintentional reminder.
Pretty_Angel: Thanks! Anime is my weak point - I just feel that I should give it a try from time to time.

So here it goes, the next serving. This time the idea was to create some very tough-lookin' earth diggin guy. I wasn't intended to do multiple variations, but I thought the first one wasn't really fit into a fantasy world (and also had some other design issues), so I made a second version. And a third, just for the fun
Here they come, hope you like them.
