Main Sketchbook....with finals.
The Power of the Sun! (aka - why I chose solorpower....its also half of my last name!)
I decided to add a new sketchbook which I will try to keep organized. I wanted to fill only my finished pieces in here. I am open to crits and take them all with open arms! I appreciate honesty as that only helps to make an artist better!

i love the blank and white sketches. you need to work some more on the colours though and concentrate on ambient influences

I haven't been to my sketchbook(s) in a while, but after reviewing my artwork I find that I have some work to do. I agree that I am not an expert yet in the use of color, which goes hand in hand in using light. I know in life there is usually some form of ambient lighting coming from all or certain directions, but nonetheless it is there. So I am working on a new series of "sketches" to post here and hope to receive honest and constructive feedback.
Time to paint!!!

Finally adding more images after much needed motivation and desire to paint more consistently. I figured I'd better get back in here and utilize all the great advice and input from fellow artists!
I have improved on an old, crude sketch and am constantly learning a lot in the process.
This is Dragon Master.

Work In Progress
Water Faerie is now Ice Faerie. I'm working on the background element and getting that finalized but I need to work on the character now. I've kept the background simplified so as not to take too much time with these paintings. Critiques welcomed during the process, and I'll post the one in the Final thread for more feedback.
Any feedback is good feedback, but I welcome constructive crits above all. Thanks!
