wow, your figures are amazing! they have sooo much rhythm and movement to them. i especially love EVERYTHING that you have with color! keep it up! i guess you could try to smooth out your lines, but looking through your sb, i don't think that's your style.

Thanks. My lines are, admittedly, very messy, but I work in pen and oftentimes (on the 'doodle pages', at least) I scribble around till I see something worth drawing which doesn't help that much in regards to neatness, hah. I'll try to work on it.

The first three pages (birds and the walking) all used photos.

Thanks for stopping by my book!

You really know how to fill up a page! I was going to comment on line quality but I think its improving. It's not a big deal when your just doodling/sketching/thumbnailing but try to use as few lines as possible.

I like the idea with the clocks/time, I'd take your inking skills and put that on some good paper/board. I like slashes.

Your female figures are looking good. I really should study those myself. Love your hatching, too. What can I bash you on hmmmmmmmm... can't think of anything.

Do you use pen or pencil? Or perhaps a bit of both?
I'm just trying to figure out how you got your scans so dark--my scanner always eats pencil lines.

    I love the arm/elbow page.

Your latest gestures look nice. They inspire me to draw more. I particularly like your gestures of the eagle. Those looked really nice. i like how you're able to portray emotion through the animals face.

I love the style of your sketches. Plus the pages really look the way I imagine a sketchbook to look like. Guess I ought to take this as a good example. =)

But I also wanted to comment on you digital work. I love them! I love the way you use the colors and the way you manage to create a dynamic picture with quite simple lines. Simply inspiring!

Haven't really drawn much since the last update for some reason, but picked up a pen today and started scribbling once more.
