    Art of a cookie

It is about time I start up a sketchbook. Hopefully it will force me to draw even more and get that practice in. I don' have much on me now, but once I get my hands on a scanner I'll post some of my life drawing and other sketches.

    Edit: New thumbnail....

hey welcome to CA, your figure studies look nice so far and the silhouette gesture thumbnails are nice and loose as well. i think right now you should fix the perspective on the first and last illustrations, they are a little off in a few areas. keep at it man.

Alex Baer - Thanks a bunch for the tip.

Chief - Thank you for the comment. I enjoyed those studies. i want to do more crosshatching on canson.

Zephony - My nickname actually started a few years back in highschool. Used to attack people with food... the name kinda stuck in the end.

Decided to do some speed paints for two of the bg thumbs.

Some images aren't showing anymore so lets hope these do.

A WIP for armor made for dolphins. Was bored at home and decided to design mech for my friend's creatures. The dolphin is a photo I snatched to show how they fit in it. Its suited for a spinner.

    Thanks dsg. I appreciate it.

I was fooling around with acrylics since I hadn't touched them in a while. Just some quick creatures.

really great stuff. loving your lineart. your figure studies and enviros are also very well done. i would suggest on your faces that you work a bit more on the structure and proportions of the face a bit more. and push your darks/lights a bit more in your paintings it will help the contrast more and bring out the overall image more as well. great stuff keep it up.

This is a tad older but not by much. I figure its worth showing since I was experimenting with cloth and light.

I haven't done any line art recently so it feels nice to actually have a pencil touching paper. I did dome quick thumbnails to get started and a few sketches for a character.

This actually started off by my friend wanting me to draw our characters interacting in some way. I decided to draw them playing basketball... somehow I decided to keep them naked...

nice updates man. not so sure about the last one but whatever. it looks like you've been putting more emphasis on your contrast which is a good thing. keep at it.
