Interesting stuff, very imaginative. You should do some life studies, human and animal. Doing so will really help your designs. Keep posting!

    Thanks for feedback Eric Young!

You have right i should definitively do some life studies. I was painting abstractions till my latest concept art comeback (yeah. 2 years between unfinished bloodsucker, and phasewalker posts :/), and walked away from "real" looking draws slightly too much.

Soon i'll post post some life studies, some of them already started - females mostly (drawing females is best motivation to learn human anatomy ever).

hey man, thnx for stopping by my SB, returning the favour!
you've got some interesting creature designs, your style is quite unique, it feels like it lacks something though. I notice in your character's poses they seems quite stiff, have you tried doing gestures? def helps you get a better flow and can help give your characters some weight

Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!

    Hey thanks for tips Rob

Yeah doing some gestures may be a right direction for me - also i found a tutorials that sounds pretty useful for my character drawings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUM3SHNCfpM
These guy is calling it drawing like a painter - i guess i'm forgetting sometimes that when you draw char, you should avoid starting it from details, and trying from simple taints instead.

Here's few unfinished pieces - decided to post more unfinished works, because otherwise i will end here without showing anything at all

Anyone got some tips how to actually work with more finished pieces? I just found that i have some annoying issues with finishing started works

Hey thanks for kind words DmnSpawn

Some update of alchemist gunslinger i did in the night - heh easy to catch that i was working on it in the night time, because its pretty dark

Still i'm playing to much with details instead of focusing on the main shapes, and ideas. Also missing potions and other alchemist attributes, oh well still tons of time till deadline.

    Here's a bit more dirty

The idea is to show these girl dirty from oil, because her mech got broken, and she's right after some kind of emergency landing.

These something on the back of the girl is supposed to be a mech

I love the dedication you have towards your paintings man. I suppose uve heard of Alan lee? if not, you can check out his drawings. i know that his process starts with lines like your starting sketches to base out an idea in some of his drawings. He lived in the countryside in england and drew alot of the tree's in the forest around the area he came from. I dont know for sure but i can see that organic type of line work being a practice of his was based around drawing branches.

cant wait to see more bro, i think a collaberation is in order !

I hope to be the best i can be... nothing less

I dig your works man, really creative.
I think you should use a bit harder brushes on your latest ones, they look kinda blurry. Also I agree with others, do real-life studies, especially animals and bugs/insects since it seems like you like drawing these alien stuff.
    Keep working!

    Hej thanks Alantyn!

Already started with bugs studies - trying to use now mix of a couple real existing animals for my each new COW combined with a bit of imagination of course.

Here's my wip for latest COW Black Beauty - kinda challenging for me, because usually i love to use colors.
