Here's a few more similar to the one above. Each one is supposed to be a different season, and the upper portion of the image is where the God's dwell.

Although mine are not nearly as cool, I used Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights as inspiration.

these are interesting. it's kind of a hanna barbera interpretation of bosch

edit: d'oh. just re-read and noticed that you referenced bosch in the description. read then post, read then post. arg. at least you know that you got things right heh

drd: Thanks! My son plays Runescape. I'll have to see if he agrees with that.

sourgasm: I like that analogy. I've tried to be more "realistic", but no matter what things always come out cartoony. I don't mind though. I think cartoons are cool.

luk8: Haha...yes, Heroes is a great game. I can definitely see the similarities now that you mention it. Again I think it's my somewhat cartoony style.

Here's a personal piece I just finished. I've been trying to experiment with more textures and layers.

Here's a tile set for a horror western RPG I've been working on for Talisman Studios' Gamescape sets. The actual size of the image is almost 2 feet long. Some of the items are actual pictures, such as the pistol, that I just painted over a little. Other objects like the cards I scanned in. Took a long time to finish, and now I have to do the second floor.

Love that gameboard. Neat how you could give such a flat image so much mood and life.
