Good updates and congrats by the 5:th star, you earned it.

*One question: In that 30 min speedpaint i can read mechanical parts like gears underneath it all. You paste stuff like that to the speedie in the beginning to give shape and paint over it-modify it? (i like that one)

Shalite - Thanks, I had to pull an all nighter because they were due the next day

Nettle mountain - Thanks, yes I used some pattern brush and photos to get abstract shapes and just paint it. As I went along I realized a lot of the things wouldn't make sense so I had to edit it down. I'm still trying to figure out how to keep a painting fresh and clean.

    Squidmonk3j- Thanks man!

D@aniel - Thanks man, your work is inspiring!

    Cakepigdog- Thanks dude!

I did some cutaways of the robot to show the interior

    wow man good work!
im really impressed by the way that you can work and rework a speed painting into a more finished work.
i tend to start over with the speedie as a reference. I have a much different approach to finished work than speed sketches though....
