Resizing Images...and that sort of stuff
Well from the title of this thread you guessed it i'm a Photoshop n00b...
I'm having a particularly hard time resizing images and what have you...I'm gonna use gfxartist to host my images and i can't seem to get my images quite right without skewing it and all that other madness...
I read the tutorial that Koro gave and it was helpful in getting my imaged scanned with good qualtiy..(it's 11x17 had to do it in 2 pieces)..but now i need to fit the image to the guildlines on gfxartist...
Small thumbnail: The small thumbnail will appear in the listing, make it 64x64 px.
large thumbnail: The large thumbnail should be 200x150 px. Make sure it isn't smaller or it will look distorted.
Artwork image: Please provide us with a link to your full size artwork. Unfortunately you will not be able to upload unless you subscribe as a hosted member. Once you have the image in our gallery please don't move or delete it so we can keep our gallery as complete as possible. Make sure the image is reachable at all times, and if you want to use a free account, make sure image/file leeching is supported. Max width of your image is 640 px.
And if you want a general overview..and read the FAQs at http://www.gfxartist.com/about/faq
Thanks in advance for the assistance...
