I temporarily changed my sketchbook thumbnail. Would you rather click a sketchbook with this one?
    (it draws more attention)

Your stuff is extremely interesting. You have a lot of dynamic poses at weird angles (I love weird angles+dynamic together !!) haha.

One concern is about your colours. They are very bland and watered down. Try some alternatives by using higher opacity brushes once you have that base layer of colour down. It would most likely improve your works and make them look tighter.

i really like yur book man, good anatomy and great idea's.

one thing i saw you do in the ortogonal view of the mermaid, is taking nipples and bellybutton as a landmark. its not so wise to use flesh as landmarks. its better to just know proportions of boney things like ribcage/pelvis so you keep proportions right (look at mentler's thread)

    see ya and keep drawing

    dude, greeeeeeat flow!!!!

just to be a punk-ass i'd say "your work seems a bit rushed", but, fuck it, mine does to, yours has a lot of nerve though!!!!

I know you'll hate me for this, but try working with traditional media for a while. a teacher of mine used to say: a brush never lies. For instance, If you work watercolor on paper, you'll notice that it's more related to the way you sketch, few brave and accurate strokes, rather to the blurry, vague result of the tablet....

I really think you have what it takes to come up with some astonishing brush-work!!!!!

great work, I'll be back for sure!

These are very nice. I liked to seeing the traditional stuff in post #34. I really think the lines you created with your pencil are more interesting. This being the case, I'm going to jump on TheJester's bandwagon. I'd love to see more traditional stuff from you.

TheJester - Brush?.....*gulp*...... Iíve never done anything but pencils and charcoal. would those count as the traditional media you want me to use?
And thanks for the vote of confidence!

Sedig -Thank you. For the second post Iím trying a new rendering method to try and replicate pencils more. Does it work? And just in case its not satisfying your traditional needs enough, Iím cooking up some still life stuff that I will post as soon as I can find the camera.

Why did you guys have to ask for traditional right when im getting the hang of my new tabletPC.....lol, ohh well, I asked for it.

My computer crashed a few days ago(my excuse for not drawing) and wouldn't start up windows, so today I decided to reinstall windows. I just finished going through hours of installing and configuring stuff.

I really like your traditional stuff. I guess I'm just obsessed with your pencil lines. Something about them. Your digitals are very nice though. I don't usually like digital work very much at all, but you have a way with the lines. Very decent replication of pencil. I really want to see you further develop this pencil replication stuff. Especially the rendering on the meerkat? with the wallet. I'm very intrigued. Do some more, and then post 'em.
