Customized Vans from SF artist TheGrossUncle!

    Hi folks,

This is my first post here at ConceptArt.org, i've been a fan of this site for a while...and I thought i'd introduce myself via this post. I want to share with you these hand-painted canvas shoes I recently created...how about it? Not exactly the traditional concept art style, but I do see a variety of great work here...want to see what you all think. Thanks, and I look forward to sharing more new work.

    Cheers,

    EEEEeeeK!! these are tubular!
I would be really afraid to wear them, so instead they would be framed.
Are you selling these? or are they just something you did for fun. Also great artwork on your Blog, I really enjoy your quirky style and fun colors.
I hope you really don't have a gross uncle, or maybe YOU are the Gross uncle, haha.
Thanks for shareing I found a new favorite artist, thats you!
    Cheers,

Grant! Oh man, I knew that was your work. I don't know if you remember me, but we had Mr. Wang's watercolor class together, My name's Kat, you inspired me to stylize my art. Anyways, love your work, I still have that hat I bought from you, a pink trucker hat with the green skulls raining from a charcoal gray cloud.

Checked out your site, and loved everything. Seems you've distilled your style down to its finest. Comical and quirky. Thanks so much for finally posting, I now have a new artist to watch and appreciate!

I think your work is beautiful, its nice to see some Conceptual art that is functional and in a 3-D medium. What paint do you use on the fabric?

I was actually getting a bit tired of the 'custom' craze but it really restokes me when I see some quality work like this. I haven't checked out your blog yet but I'm on my way! How about starting a sketchbook thread?!
