Nice improving.Your buildings look very solid.Your anatomy needs more work,I think that you should forget about color for the moment and focus on anatomy and maybe lighting.

    Cheers!!!!

Nice perspective studies. For extra kicks you and outline of people, windows, or lamp post. Nothing fancy but just to help get relation on how big objects are in the landscape.

Don't be a afraid to paint out of your line work. Personally 1/3 of the time I start out painting I end erasing a lot to get the forms or lighten up edges. You carve away at the form/large strokes rather than scratch it them in with line lines....which will take forever. Kind of like blocking in?

From my website development its getting there. Supposed to be my personal Site. Don't really need one but I'm getting sick of making up portfolios or sending stuff to people. oh its Pen Pirate.com by the way... far from finished. Probably will get it done by the end of my 3 week break from uni.

Glory666: I'm scared of colour, its a phobia... no excuse though so looky what I did, colour theory!!! I wouldn't have actually bothered to look around for something like this, but I needed to so dam bad, so thx man.

It turned out alright, but most importantly I learned a load about colour and its technical side.

Continuing my Tree City WIP as I learn colour theory so I can apply all the new principles.

lilnebo: Thanks, I really think I'm starting to get lighting. It really showed in this WIP. I really hope the final piece is PIMP'ing!
Lotet: I am going to keep at it for sure, I just need to make more time for this stuff.

Haven't posted in ages cause I've been working, so big post today. Well today I started my uni course (mid semester entry) in Graphic Design I'm totally pumped. I have also been working on my personal site www.penpirate.com I managed to complete the gallery section of the site gallery.penpirate.com. It turned out sweet as, I'm really happy with it, still has some errors and what ever but I learnt heaps about php scripting in the process. Any way I did some work on the Tree City WIP. I had some troubles with the colour... because I suck at colour! No complaining though I just kept at it for a while until my brain hurt a little. I'll attack it again when I do some more study about colour theory. I have a couple of sketches too, one random brain on paper and the other a serious study about hands and arm rotation. PLS CRIT ON EVERYTHING!!!!
