love your quick pose sketches - they really capture the essence
may i ask where you get your references? or are they from life?

the oilpainting is pretty sweet as well, especially the closeup to the face is very interesting - i am always fascinated by what one can achieve with simple rough brush strokes at the right spot

and about the womans concept here
The legs seem a bit short for me - but apart from that it looks damn sweet.
Maybe a bit more saturation in the shadows of the skin would be nice.

    cheers

Loving the first and second oils, really expressive, and I love the use of colour to create a mood, not so sure about the third one, but that might just be because of the slightly more charichatured look to the shape of the face.

Wow man. Its really nice to see how much you have improved from when you first started this sketchbook. I like the tumbling guy sequence in the first page. And your oils are sick. Keep up the work man. I would love to see you progress.

Well it sure as hell looks like you're learning, man! Those paintings look great, I love your brushwork especially, expressive and effective. And your friend was sitting there playing PSP for 6 hours?!

Keep it going... I really get inspired seeing your work, my friend.

taaasty anatomy sketches man, they're way too amazing. great proportions and dynamic poses
Also, as you know, I love the oil portraits to no end, makes me want to hurt myself (+ paint more) The pirate concept sketches are also really great, nice compositions and concepts.

Haha, you used five tries to make something more amazing than it'll take me five YEARS to make. Keep up the greamazing work

Also, teach me how to paint

OK, one more tiny little update, but at least I have the time for replies now

kischi: Thanks man, I will, when my month of ladyness is over. Seeing as I have done tremendously little in this month, I will have to step it up though, so the gunship is fo shiz comming

Random Stranger: Dude, you got some good observations there, thanks so much, will try to keep an eye on that stuff in the future

DStraX: Believe it or not, that aint smudge, just a thick stroke

Pnyx: Absofrakkindidley on all points amigo, and I get a lot of my refs from this page: http://characterdesigns.com/index.ph...page=photosets

Random Stranger: You should see the guy, but yeah, I agree, I like the other ones much better than that one. Even so, it was good fun

Eugie: Not my intent But I think she was listening to some real calm stuff, and she was making this really mellow comic^^

    Nkristian: Any time bro

dU5K: Oh yeah, that was a cool one. Could try and do more of those

    JailHouseRock2: Will do my damndest

bombchu: I guess they are fun stuff though

    danlambert: YESSIR!

sketcheth: Well he did have the occational water and toilette break, as well as waffles

D@niel: Do it man! FO SPAZ!

dwardo: No but? How you can tell that from this angle is kinda wierd Explain please

ditchman: I guess Gonna do them all over with a hard edge brush, and then work them over with that blurred edge

Jofx: Om du hadde giddi det hadde det vrt awesome

Saurus: Well, a lot and anything that triggers your fancy I suppose. I would advice you to get all the basis of anatomy and shiat like that down first, and go from there

Cacodaemonia: Thanks, that is one of the things I was going for

DStraX: No preasure control on the opacity

Iddi: If I only could, but you keep kicking my ass! We can teach each other waht we know, and push push push to become better Oh and by the by, YOURE CHINA!

    Wanna: Hehe, thanks man^^

Markusthebarbarian: You are more than welcome, thanks for stoping by

    Shadow Stalker: THanks

    SnobbyOo: You better now?

    All love^^
