I made it to the poll, but I didn't know photobucket resized it, so you can't see anything! Would it be cool if i posted the original pic here, now that I've found a way around the problem?

THANK YOU, Fozzy! Thank you. I was going trough the entries, feeling so inspired, until I saw mine, and was totally deflated. Knowing all the hard work you've done to get the poll online, I didn't want to bother you.

So I'm very grateful for a second chance!

Gunnarson, excellent designs. You would have been right up there with the best of them, had you completed it.

Admit, gunarsson's rocks. Topic is so obvious and the quality level you kept, blah, great!

Fozzy, you took it somehow free in some cases. Well I stopped with the idea about joining when seeing the example and the topics. Like "crustacean shark eater"- wtf? It just seemed like the "shark eater" describe only the size of the creature, not ideas about the anti-shark design itself... And how to make it looking big in thumbnails without backround or props.. So you did just "crustaceans", you loser #3 ok, but what the hell has #4 to do with eating sharks?

Yeah, you're right about that...and this is what i meant with i didn't think when i drew, because i was trying to keep the average of 3 creatures per day and with all the work i had to do it was hard to take time on thinking about the design. I just started and carried the whole art to a final point. I thought i could take out the ones which are not satisfying at the end...but well i didn't make the 100 in time so i didn't have to think about this

I had a whale one too. Similar ideal actually but very different design, I'll post mine later this week. I didn't make it past the pencil sketches, and only got to about 30-40. Some of them I got carried away with, especially one of my plague dragons XD.

Wow, so much skill and creativity, haven't felt particulary inspired when it comes to creature design lately, but looking at stuff like this sure remedies that. Great going, pity you didn't manage to finish your entries.

Man all of these were shaping up to be some really strong entries.
Fozzybar I like the colors on that second crab. And the last one has teeth like one of mine...drawings I mean.
I'm surprised at how many entries had basicaly the same idea that I had, and then there's the ones that went somplace I'd have never thought of.
BlkCelebration I really like the color and juicy brushstrokes, fun stuff.
vcoleman your creature designs are excellent and the composition within the frame is an art unto itself.
firespirit I learned a few things about your process by looking at your work in its various stages, so that was edifying.

Yesterday I was waiting for a tow truck and was struck with this idea for amphibian firestarter. So i just had to draw it.

    Sweet creatures everybody!!

Fozz--you make the cuttest creatures lol! 29, 12, and 31 are my favs!
gunnar--what you have right now is a very appealing group of creatures!
    Kato--good start on the amphibians.
Blk--I've always liked your cow entries, and these are no exception. You are fairly far into it. The plague dragons kick ass.
firespirit--great looking sketches. I like all the different shapes.
coleman--your line art is very neat, too bad you couldn't finish coloring them.
metalpiss--great blood suckers, made me laugh.
kwong--tiny image, but the pearls and dragons look very interesting.
