    What Soap Do You Use?

uhhh.... i was in the shower and i got to thinking about the soap i use. ive been using Irish Spring fairly exclusively for years, and if not that then whatever small bar of hotel soap i can swipe.

maybe i need to venture out and try some other types. i'm open to trying new things.

with all the recent rage about body washes and a myriad of types of bar soap it seems absurd to buy one of each type and try them all out, it'd take me years to come to a conclusion.

so what type of soap does everyone use?

    Thumbs up

    Noobs,

BodyShop fruity soaps, 3 for a fiver, the kinda translucent looking ones.

-It's pretty much the only thing that the missus is not allergic to.
-It's kinda neat smelling like strawberries or tangerines all day

    LOL!!

Well seriously, I would recommend any neutragena soap. As a company, they actually know what they are doing in terms of the science of skin care and de-stinkafication.

    Once a week

    The rest of the week

I go for a minimalistic 'American Psycho' approach to skin care for guys. Shaving is another subject all together..

The disclaimer on that thing only seems to note the dangers of ingestion. I'm sure that using it as a body cleanser, eye-drops, and/or moisturizer is perfectly safe.

Right now I've got a bar of dove in there, but I've experimented with just about everything, depending on my budget. I've used shampoo and dish soap in the past. I might add turp to the list in the future...

Soap isn't *real* soap until it looks completely edible.

Oh Lush, bless you and your over-priced but sumptuous looking bath products... which reminds me, I need more vanilla bubble bath bars that explode pink glitter everywhere.

See? I'm a girl afterall! ...sometimes.

I usually wash with St. Ives Cucumber and Melon or Citrus scent body wash. Any kind of soap product has to be gentle because my skin is just super sensitive. For shampoo and conditioner I just bought this stuff by Sexy Hair that smells like pumpkin spice (it smells really really good!). So I get out of the shower smelling all fruity and spicy. Even my hairspray smells like melon. =p

Drive down gravel roads until you find a dead cow in the ditch.

    Remove hooves.

Boil in a large vat until water is thick and scummy.

    Let cool

    Ergo, soap!

The truth will set you free,
but first it's gonna piss you off!
