    mes 1er matte painting ( my creation matte painting)

    bonjour a tous
    je suis nouveau sur ce forum et je suis francais donc je vais faire 2 textes ,
    le mien en francais et l'autre anglais , ( je vais essayer) et je vais vous montrer
    mes matte painting , pour l'instant j'en ai fai que 2 donc ... voila.

    Please excuse me if I am mistaken here, but it looks more like a photo composite than a matte? I know mattes are free to use any/all image sources, but generally you will want to work with things more than this. The buildings are partially transparent, as we can see the clouds through them, there's an odd black strip where the water meets the land, and everything has a little of that flat, greyish, digital camera look about it. Sorry if it sounds harsh, welcome to the forum!

    c'es pour cela que je suis venu sur ce forum il y a tellement
    d'artistes phenomenaux .

    I think you chose a bad plate image because it is looking straight on, so it is not very dramatic. The buildings seem integrated pretty well, although the clouds are overdone like Anthony mentioned. Also you have a light source up there in the right corner, but the lighting in the rest of the painting is completely different.

    I would suggest doing some normal paintings and then coming back to the photographs later. Good luck with it
