PaTXiNaKi 's SketchBook
Hi all! ,i have notice that all of u guys here have ur own sketchbook, why may i be diferent? ^^
I love to use my table to relax myself painting, i dont earn money with this, its my pleasure and that's why i enjoy so much when i have the pen in my hand.
What i like most of the forum is that everyone here participates, the oldschool guys and the beginers, we all here share our paintins and knowledges.
I want to improve as much as i can, and i want this thread to see how is my evolution through conceptart.

Another sketchs, this time i was thinking in some kind of cyborg awakening. The background is crappy, altough it's one of the best i have draw, i need to improve that f... b/g.
Im not very proud of this one but its a part of me.

well, i couldnt do it better, but i think that lich could use a more "lichy" look. i mean, that if you would use colors with less saturation and darken the whole thing down i would get that "undead" feeling. make the clothing more dirty and so on... my humble suggestions

Nice Sketchbook. The lich's skull is amazing. Expressive. The fabric is well done too but I think the right hand needs to be a little bigger to keep the proportions right. The hand holding the staff is very good.

HanRa -- U are complety right! The lich is in progress, that are the base colors, and i want to add some ligth efects and darken in someway the whole pic, thanks for the critics, i ll try to do my best with that picture.
Mischieviant -- Thanks very much,i have proportion issues in most of my drawings, thats why im working hard to improve that spec.

I like your stuff, especially the first one. I like the way you color stuff, as for some advice is to do some anatomy studies (i say this to everyone) because as we all know the human body is complex. Other than that your concepts and ideas are great.
if you dont mind take a look at my sketchbook

nice zombie, i'would again reduce saturation and lightness on the whole pic. a matter of seconds, just check it out.
recently watched planet terror? that zombie in hospital motive kinda reminds me of the movie.

I did the zombie some time ago, about 6 month more or less, this one was a gift for a friend of mine (razhel) who loves that creatures.
But i went to the cinema to see both, planet terror and death proof, ^^
thnks so much

Kar'tzak the Devourer
"Over the decay of the rot flesh and the skulls Kar'tzak enjoys the sunset, Kanz'al his sword glows with the power of the fallen heros, the souls beg for mercy, but in the battlefield there is no place for that feeling. "

Great skecth there Pat ! Like your Leech and Angren concept... KentochyFried Is a good one too, make me laugh and the color look good ! The Only thing I could suggest you is too add some more texture, it help giving life to your pictures. Just use textured images and ovelay them in Photoshop ( If that what you are using ? ) and play with it a bit... you can also had texture to your brushes depending how you want your images! Check out this video on youtube if you want hint about texture.. it helped me a lot ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz387...eature=related Otherwise keep it up good work there !
