    Monitor Calibration

I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap way to calibrate your monitor via either reference, or a low end device.

I don't need it absolutely perfect, but a general direction would be nice.

This is for an LCD SPVA panel Samsung, the 215TW

This would likely be the cheapest calibration equipment you can find.
Everyone has different monitors that are setup differently, so an electronic image is always going to look different anyway.
Unless you're doing professional quality work to be printed, it's worthless to worrying about it.

For the cheapest option, you're looking at a huey, but go for the Spyder 2 pro. I've reviewed both for Advanced Photoshop magazine, and although the Spyder is a touch more expensive, it's results are brilliant.
