JailHouseRock2 - Thanks! I'll have to see what I can do about a nibru
Petite - Thank you, doll! And I am sure you can give awesome crits, no matter what
llex paul - Thanks! The alice had to be a self portrait, so she is as old as me, sadly...
Carnifex - Thank you! I was thinking of you, Grv and I had a drink at the Whiskey Bar last week, made me nostalgic for the Workshop
    Astaria - Thanks!!
Mischeviouslittleelf - Thanks! I kinda like it too...

This week's Chow... I wish I had more time to devote to it, but we didn't get back from vacation and have painting time until Sunday. Meh.
    More soon!

Hey Tex, it's good to finally stumble upon your sketchbook over here, I had been following your work for a few years now over on dA, but that was forever ago.

Great work in here for sure, I love seeing your doodles and process shots, nice 'n' inspiring.

    Keep it up!

Didn't have time to say this in the Chow thread, but I think your alice needs something to pull the attention to the face. Her skirt is so bright, I'm always geting drawn back to that. Maybe you could have made the lining of her hood white, too... (hmmm, maybe that would be a little too halo-ish) Or just some other bright focal point on the upper side of the character to lead the eye to the face and mask.

Damn your lighting impresses me so much. Do you ever use color dodge on layers or brush-settings?

But what I probably love most is that you put your WIPs up for a lot of your stuff... Thank you!

Girls drawn by girls just seem to be so much sexier.

You're awesome, I skipped through your entire sketchbook and it made me cheerful

Really great work, JessiBean! I always like seeing your CHOWs. Love the self portrait, too! I'd tell you to keep it up, but I'd be foolish to think that was necessary. So, uh, yeah....Solid.

Your SP was one of my faves this year, really creative! Those scales must've taken their sweet time, but it was very worth it!
