Great stuff, Aly. Love how Jonny's body looks like it's groping to find the head, and the worm hanging out of his ear is a nice touch!

Great job, I must say that it brought a smile to my face. Wonderfully done and just in time for Halloween too.

Although Pete said it lovely, I will repeat all the same in another words. Someone needs to add traffic to this site, it is too fast working.

The girl has big potentials, cutting human bones with scalpel, I'm impressed! her outfit stays spotless... yeah, she is a lovely cozy little woman. There are some women like this, they will go through some swamp or forest and not one twig will scratch them, not one spot on their outfit. they have some protected aura around them against any damages, I'm talking absolutely seriously: there are women who can wear any dress and look elegantly in any circumstances.
You really are into 60th/ 50th. heh, like I am into 20th. I like that, heh, probably from things like this myth about incarnation was born.
I think image is very harmonic and mood improving. I like to look at her jolly face, she is having fun, robbing cemetery, I'm having fun together with her. The best things are her face, I think and the textures and tones of jeans, the soft syntactic fabric of her blouse and the purple vapor form the ground. And the accurate white socks on her feet.
Critique: you prefer certain type of women and consistently paint it. Ignoring us: with long nose, sharp protruded chins, short figures .
I love individuality in faces and figures. I have to say, this girl has certain unforgettable features, her crazy smile for example. But in general your women are like sisters of one family.

I don't particularly want to bump this but I've been away and didn't have a chance to respond since last Thursday. Thankyou for commenting...

    Interceptor - Thanks Loren.

Oregano - Heh heh! Cheers Shane!

Elwell - I'm really into that 'look'. Listening to Zombina and the Skeletones, The Damned and The Misfits et al helps a lot too!

DeathChalupa - I just did a quick search on Lupin III, and yes he does a bit. Castle of Cagliostro is about the only Miyasaki I've not seen. Cheers!

Kian - Thanks a lot Jon!

    realitychek -

Ostrander - Thanks for commenting mate!

Molly - Thankyou Molly! Happy Halloween to you too!

Lohan - Yeah, you're probably right about that arm. It was meant to look dynamic, but maybe it just looks stiff!

Stark - I'm happy to do a step by step sometime. But you can see my work process from time to time in ImagineFX.

MattDixon - Thanks Matt! And the maggots, but you can't really see them in a small jpg.

Chuck, mate - I rushed the background and 'Jonny' a bit, as I was off on my travels and wanted to post it before I went. There was going to be a spooky moon in the background dancing on floaty-light clouds, so I might update it now I'm back.

SummerPudding - Cheers Pete! Good to hear from you man!

    thorshammer - Heh, thankyou!

Sve - As usual a considered and thoughtful crit that comes from an emotional perspective and not a technical one, which is why I love reading them. I like all historical periods, particularly the one I'm into at that moment, which happens to be fiftiesish! I can see why you think many of the girls I draw have a similarity, but I'm not sure I agree completely. I think this lass is a bit different from my usual. Do you not think it's more my style you recognise rather than similar faces? I'll do a long nose next!

I'm glad this got bumped - I totally missed it on the first pass. Outstanding stuffs. I love Jonny's body searching for it's head. 100% Awesome-ness.

Yes, this girl is different, particularly her face, particularly expression of her face. It is subtly wild .
And of course I recognize your style, except one image where you tried a new approach in Chow...
But roughly speaking I think if your girls will agree to donate their skeletons and skulls to the museum after their death and someone out of boredom will measure their proportions, it will the same numbers, the same distance form their nose to their eyes, to their mouth, the same length of legs and arms and torso and wideness of hips.
You don't have to do the long nose or anything else if it is not how you feel... I don't expect you to change anything... it is just one person's impression from the images.
A question to you without any hope to hear an answer: Is a style important? for you particularly? .
