oh thanks alot mate that looks much much better, I just saw coro's painting tutorial trailer and he say that first we should only worry about the placement and distance b/w eye and nose and after that the lips. Which i think i skip and jump into next stage,
thanks again so nice of you!

I really like how much expression you get in your portraits! The eyes have a lot of personality to them! One thing of critique is that there seems to be a lot more contrast in your black and white images than the color ones. The colors are a lot more muted and all the values are similar.

I do like the color choices, however!

If you want follow up critique/comments, feel free to send me a PM or post on a thread of mine! I might not realize you need it, otherwise.

Portraits On newsprint with carbon pencils

Hey guys Its been a loooooooooooong time I did an update, I can't get the things approved by my self to be posted! these are some of the excerpts from what i have been sketching on newsprint with Carbon pencil. Most of these are from photographs(behance.net), time spend on each is not more than 30 minutes, most are 10-15 minutes portraits, I don't know why but i felt for some time I have been over conscious on the time, so trying not to worry about the time and draw better portraits having more emotions. Last ones my favorite, Thanks for reading my description.

Study from Rembrandt's self, may be i have higher-ed the brow-lines and made it more feminine any ways here's what i did in 15 min study.

Oh I found an old study of BLACKFROGS's snake-ish skull done probably couple of years back. Done in Painter(software) is quiet better than photoshop in getting colors blending, still a fan of ph-otoshop but C.painter is also fun to use.

Hey - really like those charcoal (?) head studies near the bottom and that swirly illo of the woman looking down ( looks like a head in a david kassan painting!) very good stuff!

Kevin: Its really honor to have your comments I really admire your work, you have such a control over you line work and capturing emotions, Infact I have learned a lot from your blog and work and will be learning more. Yes that's referenced/study from David John Kassan's Painting.
