    nice work monsieur !
The pencils are looking good, even though they tend to be a bit too dark.
    Cool to see something new

hahahahaha! "Coinpurse"!!!!! whooo, only you brother, only you! hahaha

Man dude wow, you've really stepped up shitloads. I mean, huge leaps forward for you. Kudos dude. I'm liking all of these concepts on here, loving the subtle use of texture, though you can use it more to distinguish different elements.

My biggest crit right now for you (yeah I have one) is to watch your value structures. Looks like the one in post #7 had too much of the dodge tool, and many of your drawing lose form and are too confusing because your local values are too similar and there is too little grey to mould the form. Keep your highlights strategic, it's always fun to go overboard there but it just ends up hurting.

Other than crit, I'm deeply impressed man, forreal. Hoping to see shitload more soon! Keep it coming man, ima keep my eye on here!

    Brendan!!!!!!!

DanielC and I were talking on messenger earlier today, I asked him about you. Great to see you posting here, really appreciate it!

Your crit makes so much sense, something was bothering me with the values and general dynamics of these characters. About the dodging, I really only used that tool a couple times before, but man that was yearrrrssss ago. It does look very bright though, some parts are exhadurated for sure (Possibly the overuse of layer settings and tones. Thanks man, we need to catch up on alot huh?

Thanks again for the comments guys, appreciate it.
*figured i'd post this pretty OC session I had with Hurricane some time ago. Just for laughing purposes, 4-5:00am wondering what we were trying to accomplish here heh

    hey buddy!
way to go to kick ass
if you want some critique i'd say that you don't define different areas enough in your designs, they all kinda melt together. you need to think about the rythm of the design more. chop it up more. Maybe add more colors in your designs to destinguish areas?

    cheers

bahaha! you finally started a sketchbook you shithead! you told me you were gonna make one like... how long ago? anyways, sweeet helm stuff. You went a little too metzen on the 2 characters for me though. puttin details in everything like the cape, too many wrinkles. I hope you keep updating instead of being so lazy and tossin all my motivation talkin in the trash.

Wonderful creature designs Coinpurse, I especially enjoy the size comparisons you added to each creature and that little simplified human icon=D I also like you how contrasted the rendered areas with the white areas contoured by your crisp linework. That special attention you gave to the texture on your mushroom image really paid off.
