Wowsers, gorgeous sketchbook! A veritable blast of inspiration. I love the whimsical style of the last piece, the characters are all easily readable, and your use of colour is fab throughout. Cracking stuff.
hmmm, i like this last piece a lot, but it isnt quite popping. i dont know how far you are into it, maybe darken up the front 2 characters so they seperate from the big guy a bit more. than a layer of cast shadow might help.
I wanted to say 'thanks' for your post in my sketchbook. Then I took a look through here. Now I want to say 'thank you very much'. Anyone who can do this stuff and say they see a lot of potential in me has my eternal gratitiude. As far as the comments on my linework, I (much to my chagrin) have been using a graphic marker to ink my stuff. I used to use a crowquill exclusively, but haven't lately.
But enough about me, your stuff is fantastic. The variations of styles, approaches, and subject matter is very impressive. I've recently gotten myself a tablet, and seeing stuff like this makes me want to pull out every drawing I've ever done and paint it up.
