Wollte schon ´ne Vermisstenanzeige aufgeben .

Great to see your work again. Hopefully you couldn´t post because you had so much to do and earned lots of money ...

Btw when I´ve got my actual crunchtime done, I´ll try to organize some kind of Sketchgroup-Meeting in the Ruhrgebiet (probably late September). If you´re interested have a look here: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25764 could be fun!

Fipse: Danke, mein Freund! Hab die letzte Zeit tatsächlich echt viel geschuftet und war irre viel unterwegs - Karikaturen zeichnen und so. Wegen dem Treffen rufe ich dich die Tage mal an, hab eh Lust mit dir zu quatschen.

Deco: Wow, your first post for me!? That is incredible! Many thanks!

    dCepT: Many thanks!

    Syrogen: That´s funny! Thanks!

xia: Many thanks my friend! :waves:

I have done a lot of Ref-Drawings like these since the Amsterdam Workshop, trying to work faster and improving with anatomy:

With Ref / 5-12 min each

Still mightily impressed. Looking forward to the day when I'm at your level with my anatomy and have that kind of confidence in my lines.

Do you work with live models or picture referance?

 That's hardcore, Robulus. Really hardcore. To get such clean drawings in as littlle as 12 minutes... damn.

I never *realized* you were at the amsterdam workshop, otherwise I would have bugged you more. (like looking into your sketchbook)

    Next time!

    Your Work is amazing!!

You have absolutely amazing versatility--what I your main area of focus.
What color medium do you use most!
Like the Hogarth studies. Never had the patience to render those the way you do.

Do you work from reference mainly---or imagination----or both?

dCepT: I would love to attend a life drawing class. But there are no here in the city I live, so I study mainly from books.

mentler: My main area of Focus? Hmm, I don´t know. I do a lot of caricatures and cartoon stuff for living. I like it, it´s fun, but it not inspires me. There are so many artists in the past and here on CA that I admire. I really hope that I will find my own style one day, until then I enjoy my little studies.

endregan, roger, bonedog::emb: I promise (with crossed fingers behind the back)! :trouble:

Ra Havok: Many thanks! The next time, pleas bug me!Do you come to the WS in Berlin?

    TARGETE: Many thanks, JP! :waves:

Icey: Thank you! Yep, I have the german version of the book (Der AKT - Anatomie für Künstler).

Karim: Danke Alter, Na, hast du deine irre Reise überstanden?

    van: Many thanks!

The lady (Gouache) is from Anselm Feuerbach. The old man (Gouache) is from J. S. Sargent. I scanned the page with with the coin to check the size of the Gouache Paintings. The warrior at the bottom left is from Angus McBride. The guy above right is without Ref. Below right is a quick Watercolor sketch from my cat Esmeralda:

    Hey old Boy,
now I know what you are doing in your sparetime :-)... You have to post more of your stuff. I have had an idea for a conceptart multisession interrelationshipeventdingensbumsmegaTeil...

I take some of your sketches and convert them to sculpts as a tutorial. Oh that will be a lot of fun... we have to meet soon, buddy :-) :fruit:
