Need help with textures and crits update 01/11/07

    Hi Guys,

Im currently doing a version of my own cave troll-very close to the original but not quite.
I quite like the face and front shoulder textures so far-i still have a lot to do,but its the back of it.I've done it 5 times now and it doesnt look right.I have smellybugs skin tutorial,as well as a few others and im struggling.Im aiming for dry cracked skin-closer to "the thing" than a troll really.
    Any tips?

That looks awesome. Seriously, I would just keep going the way you are going. The cracking pattern you've got is great, maybe a finer version of the same pattern in between the big cracks with smaller cracks.

I love this. It looks amazing, hands-down. I think smaller, sharper teeth would look a bit more menacing; maybe even broken, ground-down teeth. He looks a little clean as-is, but I love the slope of the forehead and chin. Comes together very nicely.

More new updates, i got advice from another forum that he looked like he was yawning from the side so i've tried to rectify that.Plus he needed more creases in his neck textures to show he was able to move his head from side to sidelet me know what you think, crits welcome again.

    Hey Tysiony,

I really like what you've done here, looks like me in the morning! I've been looking at your image and I hope you don't mind, but I had a few of my own thoughts to throw in:

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
