holy fuck not the place I'd like to be, wearing a samuraii armour.
It kinda looks abit like mullins work, eventhough he have tons of more knowledge he can apply to his own work, you might get there someday. good use of sketchup, i'm a sucker for that program. never figured out how it work. and it's supposed to be the easiest 3d on the market, haha

I prefer the 3rd image. it's most dynamic and alings with mr fibanocci's twirl. might want to add some life by adding people, though.

jesus christ this thread is so radical. I'm curious though; how much of these last three were referenced? Every time I try to do some kind of environmental picture, I need reference. How do you work when you make these?
    Thanks for updates

Great post man! those enviro's are really something. I'm noodling with sketchup as well, we'll see what comes of it. Seems like the Atelier is really making something out of you.

It says I "thanked" you for the post, which I don't know why it did, I didn't click the button, but anyway, I'm glad it did, Thanks for the post! haha.

More cool stuff. Sham's right, the samurai are funny. Great colors in that one. Creepy style to the alla prima, something about the eyelids. Enviros have a sense of depth and ambiance. I like the tilted horizon better, maybe just because I dig the rug. Keep staring at edges and painting ass (can that word substitute for kicking?).
