These look nice. They make great concepts, but it feel it takes away from the sculpture. It's just my opinion.

These are good, especially the last one. I wish I could see more of the Medusa one because it looks very dynamic and interesting. Can you post a pic without the Black bg?

I like many of your sculpts. They have an interesting design to them, but I completly dislike your digital overpainting...it doesn't do justice to your sculpts.

I discovered your work here a couple weeks back. To put it plainly, it's terrific. And your influences really come through without interfering with your own artistic voice. However, I completely agree with itariki. I've noticed that you've updated your site with new paintovers and then they started appearing here, and it really has worked against the rawness of the sculpts.

Grey Skull is badass. When you see the raw sculpt, BAM! - this guy kicks ass. When you see the professional paint jobs, BAM! - they truly give the character life. But your paintovers seem to mute all of that.

I understand what you're after, but it appears - especially in the "Machine of Loving Grace" paintover - rushed and clumsy. Granted, this is all opinion and it's ultimately up to you, but the punch just isn't there for me like it was looking at those mean, gray sculpts.

I can never get enough of your work, it's so amazing. I was wondering if your buildup with the pink super sculpey is it baked before you start with the Grey?

hey dex, unless the sculpt is big, I usually dont bake the super sculpey piece until it's finished or close to finish. I also mix the pink sculpey with super sculpey firm to get a diff degree of hardness. feel free to email if you have questions.
