random thought doodlies. just lettin the pen do the talking.
definitely was trying to think as little as possible.
i'm liking these little dorky, stubby, short, fighter jet things. they're just stupid looking enough to merit developing
that guy, on the second page. yeah might develop him a bit further
hey dude. looks like the mech stuff is starting to come a little more naturally now. Seems like you're having some problems covering the shadow areas; try a brush pen.
also: are you thinking about going to fanime? I was invited by a friend but I don't think I'd go unless I had sketch buddies.
Lake dude. the funny part is i have a brush pen but i always forget about it. i found that mechs are a lot easier when i have a point of reference and know a bit about how they're constructed. winging the design usually ends up in disaster, specially when it comes to the more complicated ones.
here's some naked ladies. figure drawing from today
mostly 5/10min i think there's one 20
as you might notice. i figured out i have no idea how to draw necks.
algenpfleger yea man i hear where you're coming from. i'll definitely have to give it a go. think i'm going to do some vehicles from reference later and see where that takes me.
figure drawings from today.
did alright. still suck at necks. ><
some pages from the sketchgroup in SF.
spacehips and stuff. Need to stir up the mix a bit now. they're really starting to look the same.
also need to figure out a good rendering style so i can start digitizing them.
