Hiya! You have some really nice studies and your imagination work is really coming along! A lot of the theory you pick up in your anatomy studies should be applied to your imagination work to improve the accuracy of muscle groups and joints etc, your values are getting there!

    Nice work! Keep posting!

    Hey all

Two speed paints based on Dino Riders first one is just a test second one is more in the direction i'm going with this and its a Utahraptor not a Velociraptor as the Velociraptor is way too small, about the size of a big dog

I think your studies look really good. Especially the portraits. The imagination work is coming along nicely too. Maybe you could use some more references while you're working to get it to the same level of quality as the studies. The figures suffer time to time from slight stiffness. More gesture drawing to sort that one? Still, nice stuff. Keep it coming.

Hey thanks ismo Yeah I've definitely had problems with stiffness, I'll keep working at it and hopefully it'll fade in time, I try to do some gesture stuff every day

Wow.. your still lives are gorgeous! And some of your portraits are so spot-on. @__@ There's some really nice work here.

Good to see you're studying anatomy - don't stop! I would support someone else's earlier comment to use a couple refs for imaginative work - the quality drop between your work from life/refs and imagination is pretty harsh, and I think you could both learn more and produce better work if you used a couple refs and pieced those together into original work rather than pure-imagination stuff. For the moment, at least. But you're working hard and improving fast, so we'll see how long that lasts. ;)

Nice work again - keep it up!

Your still life work is really good looking, accurate lighting and sense of depth. Somehow that doesn't seem to translate to your figure work. No idea why. More practice I guess to become more familiar with such things.

    Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Your observational stuff is amazing but your imaginary characters are off. When you do still lifes or figure studies don't just copy what you see, try to understand why things look as they are. Some anatomy studies won't hurt either ;P Good luck!
