Hey, what a great sketchbook! I really like it, and this medieval caravan on top of this page is realla really cool. Very dynamic lines and even it's just a sketch you can recognize a lot of details. I give you 5 stars and looking forward for more
Well well, quite a break I've taken here. School has been one hell of a ride, and there have been some very unfortunate personal circumstances, so I must admit I almost forgot about you guys...
I'll remedy some of that by posting a few pieces from a while back. I have worked on a fantasy cardgame along with some other aspiring artists. It was pretty much a hobby project but we invested serious amounts of time and effort in it. The plan was to get it published in some way, but so far we haven't had much luck with that. Ah well. It was a great experience anyway.
I did the artwork for 2 of the races in the game. They were mostly classics: Humans and Undead. I decided to do both in different media. Humans are all done with acrylic (plus some coloured pencil here and there) on paper. Dor the Undead I went all digital. It has certainly helped me develop my digital skills greatly!
First up: sketches and preliminary design work for the Humans!
I'll upload some more stuff in the coming weeks, when I find time. I'm pretty happy with a lot of it, so I can't resist showing it off!
Oh my god Yngling! Those final paintings are outstanding! Their so interesting to look at I cant even describe how much I like them! This is definetly one of my favourite sketchbooks on CA, always look forward to your posts!
Are those undead sketches for your story? or for the CHOW challenge? I like the line work, very tattered, just like them
