Spartan Camp #14 - 50 Gestures and Muscle study

The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 14th of October.

The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, animate stone golems....and can be in any media, digi or traditional is fine.

In addition to this, participants can choose to do a study (or studies) of the muscles of the human back, in any media. Black and White or Colour is fine.

Come on soldiers! Flex those muscles!!

PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

    Hope I'm not too late

MeTaL-Mike - nice heads, i like that you attached most of them to a neck so they're not just floating in space. Try experimenting with more extreme angles
Adi. - Nice job, everything looks very clean and proportions look spot on. The fashion and hair designs really show off your line work.
Anthis- Nice poses, maybe try and throw in some seated poses as well. Also pay attention to proportions, a few of them are off.

Adi – Thanks a lot. Love your studies too. Watch out with the eyes though, they are too close to each other; I tend to do that too sometimes.
Anthis – good expressions and nice studies.
Howie – Thanks man, I will. Am planning to put some more time into heads. Love your gestures man, nice dynamic stuff.

Good work all. See yah at the next one

MeTaL-Mike; Thanks, think I'm worse than last week tho. Did an attempt at female figures but I seem to have messed up both male and female now. Gonna have to work on that badly.
Nice job on the expressions, seems like you're working on the mouths... Some of the heads seem a little "short". Pretty interesting "cartoony" ones among them aswell
Adi.; Neat linework, especially at 90sec. I like the head shapes for some reason. Might be since I myself can't get them right yet.
Howie; Thanks, and yes, getting the proportions right is still my main goal.
Interesting sketches, probably a good method to get balance right? Some of the heads in your first scan seem small. Inspirational poses among em. Few exceptions (4,19,26) are harder to read.

Just what comes to mind, hope its useful, tell me if you disagree tho
