Hi foxboy, this is my first time visiting your sketchbook. I'm liking it so far, nice to see enviros and character work as well as some cool looking vehicles as well.

I especially like the loose feel of your lines/brushwork. I've always preferred that less clean feel with lots of surface texture and different mark making. Proper nice!

I'll be sure to catch this thread again sometime,

PS: Nice to see a fellow Londoner on here (well...Essex'r, haha)!

    Cx

The last one is looking georgous, great expression!

The main white light is coming from the right...however the highlights on the left of the character (which I presume are from the rockets or whatever went past) are the same color...what if you made your second light source something other than white to add even more mood? You also might be able to do something nice with a cast shadow from the wings onto the body.

    regardless, slick piece

Fantastic work, Foxboy. Keep up the great work, and I like how you put together a little step by step. Perhaps you could do that for some of your other images at your leisure?

You certainly make me want to start using painter, I am just starting digital painting.

In the street scene environment from yesterday, be careful with the camber angle of your tires and wheels. They don't seem to be angled in relation to each other, and they certainly aren't angled in relation to the ground. Even in the future that sort of thing will still be the same! Tricky cars, man.

    Good stuff, keep it coming!

Hey Fox, Cool sketchbook. You've come a long way since page one... I like your use of texture, tho at times its a bit un-cohesive, if you know what i mean? like inteh street scene for example, you have a brick texture for the walls, which works wonderfully for a quick read, but your eye keeps getting drawn back because sowmething isnt right.... i think its perspective on the rows of bricks... But im just nitpicking, lol. keep posting dude...
