    New Here...My ART

Hello all.. I'm new to the forum..and I'm still not quite sure how much traffic stays around..anyhow..here's my sketchbook/portfolio of various graphite, charcoal, watercolor, stencil, and pastel work. I'm looking for input, opinion, suggestions, and comments. What do you guys think?

    Hi there!
    Welcome to CA!
Nice start and I hope you stay here

Your have some really interesting and good pieces here. Loving the female portrait and the landscape with a gloomy forest!

Question: Is the portrait in first pic and the the second male portrait your self portrait?

Once again no crits from me...

    Keep updating!

Hey! Someone is indeed looming round. Thanks man! I really appreciate the input. And yes, the self portraits of the two males are me. One is soft pastel, one is charcoal, conte, and white charcoal

Welcome! I think that you will find there is plenty of traffic around. One great way seems to be putting your sketchbook on your signature, and you start to share comments with individuals who like to return the favour of helping out.

The female portrait is very nice, and I like how much the bird with the yellow bg pops out. Good variety of works..

Man, that's neat stuff. The girl looks great, very lively. You also captured the atmosphere in that environment pic of yours very well. One can almost feel the stickiness of the fog coming through the firs.
Keep up that good work, man!

Made a new master study for class. Critique if you wish. Sorry for the poor picture quality..

We were to combine an old master "drawing" and combine it with a more contemporary artist. I chose a classic Rembrandt etching, "Windmill", and a Louis Lozowick pencil named "New York" ..Its sort of a mix of old & new worlds, in reality, in architecture, civilization, culture, etc.
