The render looks nice... but what the hell is going on here?

Very nice. I like the movement...though I'm not exactly sure what's going on in the scene. Is the guy with the cigar a pick pocket?

Cool. I like how you've got the sword bisecting the painting, but then have the attacker's leg penetrate that bisection.

As for what's going on, I think that it's fairly obvious. No shirt sword guy wakes up in a Renaissance style back-drop, misses his belt loop as he's putting on his pants and then has to deal with some ridiculous hipster pinko colonel with a katana peddling cigarettes and bragging about how many gold pieces he has. I'd be pissed too and if I happened to have a scimitar and buckler nearby, I might just try to slash the bastard.

    Brutal.

Yep, no idea what's going on but I still like it. Love the face expression of the "colonel" guy and the dynamic pose of the other. Nice details and rendering too.

Actually. It looks alot like Slayer from the Guilty Gear series.

Nice picture anyways. Could need some more rough and jagged colours/texture. It feels abit too polished in the surfaces IMO.

Its quite scary how simular the left character is to slayer in Guilty Gear. Even if it is purely cooincidental...

I think the beard man's left hand creates a weird tangent with the jumping guy's left foot and base of scabbard.

    Ncie work, but!
The jumping guy's back could be cleaned up a bit, right now it looks pretty dull and doesn't reflect his effort. His biceps seems pretty big and doesnt seem to have a tricep since he's doing an intense action.
His legs, especially the left one, looks a tad too low, and i don't really understand why the bottom of his jeans darkens since the light should brighten it up.
As for the other guy, his head could be re-worked a bit, it looks a bit deformed. (too big)

I also thought the same. Great work wutangkiller! although i think your pieces need a bit more contrast (in light at least!)

Jesus, Marko making a cameo. Great dynamic moments in these pictures. I had a few "wtf-is-happening-here", but in generally the pictures kept me interested and amused. gg
