Dwarven warrior (and originalty thrown out the window)

First time I post a wip here (though, I´ve been keeping up a rather mediocre sketchbook)

But, anyway.. doodling up a Dwarven Warrior and would gladly welcome crits (I´ll bring milk and cookies)

    thanks in advance

i agree with the top post his body does make him look like full height... maybe make him smaller... or compare him to something..

with the face i think its pretty good
i would like to see your final versions of this...

I think the eyes are too far away from each other, there should be just enough space for another eyeball between both. I agree about the height as well, but i'm not really a dwarf expert either. Good luck with the progress.

I always love it when artists show what they started with (an opaque, low detailed, brightly colored figure) and then show the parts they've actually rendered. Really puts into perspective how skilled you are. (alright, that was a compliment, in case there's any confusion)
The eyes are really piercing, and while it draws the viewer to them, it takes the attention off the rest of the piece. That, and the fact that the beard looks artificial. Keep up the good work.

The pen is mightier than the sword, but the minigun does more damage.
