Thanos - Rapid Prototyping from Zbrush

So this is as finished as this one will get.

I made the initial sculpt for a presentation I did at Gnomon for Pixologic, and then I did the base/bust and Gentle Giant did an output of it for Siggraph, it was on display at the Pixologic booth.

They did a cast and Resin for me, and I love it, have it on my little glass case. It is really cool to be able to hold something I made on a computer...

Anyway hope you guys like it

(btw he is a Marvel comics character called Thanos)

and the output model(done by the fine folks at GentleGiant, thanks Scott!)

I have done a lot of things in 3d(max, zbrush, mudbox) But never posted here cause I thought it was more for traditional sculpture, so I hope this is close enough!

    Very nice indeed!

Thanks for sharing him with us.

I wonder how much it cost to have something like that done?

Love this one Ian, and really really cool that they made a bust for you as that takes it to another dimension. You need to see if you can make a deal with Marvel and sell that thing, as I know I wouldn't be the only one to purchase it. Looking forward to what you produce next.
