Here is a sheet I am doing to show my process in looking for shapes and pattern for one of my characters. Problem is, I am doing this for a large portfolio project showing my visual development skills and I am not sure if this is strong enough to show. . .or even if anyone really cares to see this or would they rather just see the finished model sheet. Maybe I need to do more and make them smaller. That way the sample becomes about how much variety I squeezed out of one silhouette.

Well as i see, this is simple... may i expect some detailes faces and others views of the characters, then i can understand better your skills.
Color is highly useful and difficult, so, show that, and u have a great portfolio in coming.
Hope this give some light.

It depends on the college your going to. This would have been fine to demonstrate your basic knowledge of anatomy and such, but they wanted to also have complete works.
Also, they might want to see something of a continuation. Mine was really big on that. If you create something, make sure it has a story, that it is easily detectable, and interesting. So you might want to use that character and, dunno, make up something.
Anyway, cheers, hope it goes well
