Some more scetches
and some anatomy studies
feel free to post critique and such
I will try my best to keep it updated and beat my scanner with a stick if it won't let me
Here is one more sketch that I did some days ago, only posting one picture this night since I'm kinda tired (late night in Sweden)
Anyhow, this is a sketch of a... well we call them "Troll" in Sweden...
Hey all again! been a while since I uploaded some drawings so here I upload some more! enjoy..
Dan Valkar: Thanks, I will keep em comin'
Today was another day by the TV with no insperation at all, untill a documentary on Vikings came up, and changed that. It was like: Do'h! Why didn't I think of that so I drew one (without a horny helmet even thou it's cool but no.. )
I throw in another scetch, of a Chaos Zealot from the MMORPG, Warhammer Online, that I'm looking forward to play
but anyway, here they are, hope you can tell who's who
Alesoun: Thanks Yea I noticed that the hands where tiny after I scanned it, So I'll post a new one soon with bigger hands ;P
Hi! I am new around here too, but it seems that you are off too a great start. I think that some of the proportions with your anatomy may be off, so keep working on that. I am a beginner, but one thing that seems off to me is that many of your characters seem short. I have read that an average body is about 7 1/2 to 8 heads high. Also, one thing that helps me with the size of hands is to take my own hand and put it over my face. I know that sounds odd, but my hand covers a good portion of my face which makes me realize that hands are much large than I tend to draw them. I guess it is all about observation. Keep up the work!
Meds: thanks, I will work on my anatomy. Wow I never noticed that my characters looked short, now when I look they are only 5 heads, dwarfs perhaps? but I will work more on that and I will try to do some drawings from life to help with proportion and anatomy
Hello everyone once again! sorry for not posting for a while, but we just moved to a new house and there hasn't really been time for me to upload anything :s and on top of that my scanner does not work anymore, but i have a wacom now so i can prob do sketches with it as I'm learning how to use it
anyway here is a pic I just "finished", it's a good-luck rune i think it's called "Thuriaz" :
Yeah, tell me about those scanner problems... (i had to buy second one this year)
You are still doing anatomy studies thought? i liked your traditional sketches...

It looks like you're making progress in the right direction. I would say, though, that you should probably do one page of referenced anatomy (or life study) for every page you illustrate fantasy or non-reffed material. That way, you can see the difference between what your mind perceives to look accurate and what is more realistic, and more importantly you can see yourself improving. I've learned it the hard way that what they mind perceives to be anatomically correct is far different from how something actually looks.
Keep up the good work, and try to keep you ref work and your fiction work at an equilibrium.
Ye I'm still doing anatomy studies, and i need to work on my life studies( which are close no none  ) but I will post some referenced anatomy studs when i have a little more time, like tomorrow, but it will happen
Nettle_Mountain: Hehe scanners have such a short life, when A.I. comes they will never work cause they won't see the meaning with living such a short time . Thanks for the crit
Odin_052: Thanks I'm trying my best yea I get sloppy when it comes to looking for reference so most of the stuff I'm doing doesn't have it Thanks that's a great tip! I'll try to do that in the future.
I can show a image i drew from reference a couple of days ago, or a sketch but anyway.. :: the reference is from "photo.net/photos/Isaac%20Madera"(without quotes) so I take no credit from those great pictures, which is by the way a very good site if you are looking for things to draw..
the sketch is rough but hey, it's a sketch!
Well it was a very long time since I uploaded anything here and, well things hasn't been going as planned, havn't drawn as much as i should, and frankly havn't been on here at all, but thought that the time was right and checked som sketchbooks out and just felt like posting something and hopefully keep them coming
this is a piece that I worked on for a few good hours, all thou it doesn't make up for the beautiful girl on the picture, I'm pleased with the result
this is some kind of a "judge" since she cannot see or whatever enjoy anyway!
Finally I'm sick! heh been working a lot and haven't had the time to post, but now that I sick I can work on drawings again!
Anyway, here are some new pieces done today
Woa! just realized that the last picture sucks pretty bad! promise i'll redo it
I'd like to see a work out of the asian lady, looks promising so far
No skill still isn't a new side.

Nice work here, keep at it! Definate improvements gowing down. The red one has a great asian feel to it, not sure if you want the girl to be asian too....if you are try not make the eyes so deep set.
there we goe! some improvements on that ugl drawing!
Lord_Regenschirm: I'll see what I can do, thanks
Kidult: Thanks for the tip! I didn't want to make her to asian, it just became that way when I did her hair
liked how u managed redoing her face, respect
I'A CTHULHU: Thanks! I couldn't live with the fact that it lookied like a cross of the singer from aerosmith and a monster so I just did what I had to do
