    Hello Kevin,

I just learned about this school It's very exciting to know what you have been doing. Is there any chance you are thinking of doing some online classes?
That would be great! I live in the Philippines and I have been saving for what seems like eternity to go to California and go to LAAFA. Well, because I thought you still teach there I have saved a lot for tuition but not for housing, living, airfare etc. It would make the biggest difference in the world if you offered that kind of service
I hope you at least think about it;P

Or if I'm lucky I can go there next year!

    Cinematic Storyboard with Jay Oliva~!!

Concept Design Academy Summer 2017 - Summer Semester Starts June 5th~!!

In this class, Jay will cover the storyboard staging mechanics used in various films such as horror sequences, fight choreography, drama sequences and etc. The class will study clips from various directors on how they use the same mechanics with their own storytelling styles. This is a great class for anyone interested in learning more about camera staging, composition, and how to draw quick, expressive storyboards.

Cinematic Storyboard is still open for enrollment. To see more samples of Jay’s work, please visit:
    http://cinematicstoryboard.blogspot.com/

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Jonas,

    Great to hear from you~!!

I saw some of your recent post with the feedback notes, Carlo will be really proud

We actually just back from a trip to Czech republic and had a great time checking out Mucha's Slav Epic paintings. If you haven't seen it, definitely make the trip and check it out, it is simply amazing and worth the trip.

We were able to find the paintings at Moravsky Krumlov, near the city of Brno.

Hopefully we can meet up again either in US or in Belgium sometime in the near future.

Hope all is well and keep in touch~!!

    Kevin

I took Jay's story boarding classes while I was in college studying animation. He's an awesome guy, and really knows his stuff. Wish I had time to learn from him again. I would recommend anyone who is interested in studying storyboards to take a class from him.

Nice work on this thread. I am interested in the program and want to take classes, but I'll need to figure a way to relocate to LA, and I'll need a much better job than just simply working an average day job to afford rent/living/tuition. Hopefully I will see you in the not so distant future. =)

    Hi,
I was interested in your Summer 2009 Session. When will you have the new schedule and what date does it start?
I am hoping that James Paick and Ed Li will still be there teaching the Environment Design courses. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

3 Day Composition Workshop with Marshall Vandruff~!!

Concept Design Academy Summer 2017 - Summer Semester Starts June 5th~!!

    Hi Everyone,

This is a quick reminder for Marshall Vandruff's Composition Workshop coming up at Concept Design Academy in a few weeks.

    Fri. 29th - 7~11PM
    Sat. 30th - 2~6PM
    Sun. 31st - 2~6PM
    Price - $270

Marshall is considered one of the best instructor on the subject by many artists in the industry. If you are interested on how to compose your image that works at a gut level, Marshall's workshop is not to be missed as he breaks down the visual language that we feel through imagery.

Strongly recommended. Sign up soon as spots are limited~!!

For sign up instructions, visit our website at www.conceptdesignacad.com or e-mail us at contact@conceptdesignacad.com

    Thanks,
    Kevin Chen
