A great class for anyone who wants to improve their knowledge and workflow in Photoshop painting for both character and environment design works. Topics such as layer organization, brush setting and creation, painting various materials and professional workflow will be covered in the many in class lectures, demonstrations and in class exercise. Designed for beginning digital painters the tools to get started and for intermediate artists to improve on their speed and work flow.
This is a great class for anyone interested in learning how to draw, paint and design hard surface objects.
John will cover many important design topics such as designing different vehicle personalities with proportions, designing from inside out for a vehicle (understand the anatomy of mechanics), how to use cut lines and high lights to help add to the composition of your form, and various rendering techniques for metal, paint, rubber, plastic and glass surfaces.
All in all, a great follow up class to Vis Com 1 if you want to continue to learn how to take your drawing further for design purpose.

In this class, Brian will share with the students the process of designing an interactive environments/props as an interior set and exterior vistas that helps establish the overall mood of the environment. Great class for anyone interested in preparing their portfolio for their game environment design portfolio.
This is a great class for character and creature designers alike who wants to increase their design vocabulary and study how the master designer, "Nature" designs forms for movement.
In this class, Jonathan will go over how to break down and draw and animals in simple forms, understand their proportions/weight, and dive deeper to understand their structure types (bone and muscle variations designed for different movements and functions).
This class covers the important basic skills and information that an entry environment designer is expected to know when applying for a job. Topics such as production pipeline, prop & set design, designing layout for game play/storytelling, modular design, prop call out page, and digital painting for lighting and color cues for storytelling/game play will be covered in the many in class lectures and demo.
