Icon Environment - Early Stage WIP

Phew, it's been a while since I've posted around these here parts!!

Anyways, here's the deal: I have just started an environment painting for a project of mine, and I was wondering if some of you fine chaps could offer your critiques. I'm specifically looking for advice on the lighting, but if you notice other gaffes, by all means write me up.

If you want it to be realistic moonlight, desaturate everything a bit, especially those reddish browns.

It's actually supposed to be an afternoon type lighting... blue sky and all that. The big block on the left is supposed to be rock rising above the village..

Hmmm.... dunno about afternoons where you are.. but around here they tend to be more purple and pink. I also thought it was a night scene.
